When We Were Young

Looking back after so many years,
At the times we had before,
Our joys, our pains, and all our tears,
Now they seem so far away.

Now that we've grown up and moved on,
Chosen our own paths on the journey of life,
Do you remember our common bond,
So long ago, yet it still feels like yesterday.

Do you remember, when we were young,
The things we've said, the things we've done,
Together, forever as one,
Now, we meet again today.

Now, we see that we have changed,
No more the young guns that we were,
But yet, we may be no longer young,
The memories we still hold dear.

For you my friends, i hold a toast,
For the times when we were young.
